Class Information
The navigators class is a class for adults of all ages who want to find solutions to the problems of life by "navigating" through the Bible. The Bible is still relevant today, despite attempts by political leaders to eliminate it from public life. We show you its relevance and importance in 21st-century America.
We are currently doing a study of the book of Philippians. Paul wrote this book while in prison, most likely in Rome. It was written to the church at Philippi in Macedonia. This was probably the first city in which Paul preached after accepting the Macedonian call. This church was very faithful to Paul in both prayer and financial support.
David and Dot Mollen attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO. Dot was an elementary education major. David majored in music education and attained a bachelor of science degree in 1987. Then, they both took teaching positions at BBC Christian Academy in San Antonio, TX before moving back to Denton to help found the Cornerstone Baptist Church in 1989. David did music and youth and Dot was the church secretary and was in charge of the nursery. After that church closed its doors, the Mollen's joined Central Baptist Church. In 2006, they took over as teachers of the Navigators class. David and Dot have 3 children and 2 grandchildren.
The Navigators class is a unique blend of adults looking to "navigate" their way through the challenges of life by applying the principles of the word of God. We have a relaxed, open-forum style class where your input is always welcome. Come join us as we "navigate" through the Bible and show its relevance in 21st-century America.
