Oh Climb on board our jolly ship, travel on life's sea! Patch the Pirate and PeeWee Clubs are a unique, children's choir program featuring stories with the Willow Valley Kids, Bible lessons, songs with Patch the Pirate and fun games and activities. We set sail every Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. Come join us!!!!
- To build strong Christian character into the lives of children;
- To present a positive witness for Christ;
- To worship the Lord in song;
- To train children in music;
- To provide an exciting club meeting that every child will enjoy.
NOTE: Our next performance will be March 25, 2012 during the Sunday evening service. Please have your child(ren) dressed in white shirts/blouses and blacks pants/skirts.
Each week Bible lessons, Scripture memory, character building song, and a daily devotional guide are designed to work together to promote faithfulness and Godly character in our children's lives. In addition, each child will have an opportunity to serve the Lord through a quarterly musical presentation. Through Patch the Pirate Club, each child will receive the benefit of both musical and Biblical instruction.
Patch the Pirate's Club Verse is: Colossians 3:16, "Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord."
The Sailor's Salute is: "I pledge allegiance to the Lord Jesus Christ, Whose name I love and Whose praise I sing. As a faithful sailor in Patch the Pirate Club, I will do my best to serve my Savior and obey His Word."
The scripture for the year in 2011-2012 is Ps. 100. I am giving 10 Patch bucks to any child who can say the whole thing in one sitting. Also, we are tallying Patch bucks on a monthly basis this year and having the Patch store every month.
Because of the Christmas holiday and the upcoming missions conference, the sailors are behind 3 weeks devotions. Please work with your child to try to get caught up before the end of March.
